This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you use the SelfAI mobile app (iOS and Android), the SelfAI web app, and our website at selfai.digital.

• Selfies and photos you upload for AI headshot generation, including the AI-generated outputs we return to you.
• Account data such as email, sign-in identifier, language, country, and chosen photo styles.
• Purchase and subscription data handled by RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play billing systems.
• Usage and device data like device model, OS version, app version, IP address, crash logs, screen views, and interactions, used to improve the AI photo studio experience.
• Marketing identifiers such as advertising ID and campaign attribution data, where permitted by the applicable platform consent rules.

• To run the AI headshot generator and return your photos.
• To operate accounts, billing, and subscriptions.
• To provide customer support and respond to requests.
• To improve performance, fix bugs, prevent abuse, and detect fraud.
• To send service messages and, with your consent, marketing communications you can opt out of at any time.

SelfAI relies on a small set of vetted processors to run the AI photo studio reliably. Each processor handles only the data required for its job and is bound by data-protection terms.

• RevenueCat — manages in-app subscriptions, entitlements, and receipt validation across iOS and Android.
• Firebase (Google) — authentication, push notifications, crash reporting, remote configuration, and core back-end infrastructure.
• Google AdMob — serves ads inside the free tier of the app, subject to your platform consent settings.
• OpenAI — powers selected text and prompt features used by the AI photo studio.
• Microsoft Azure — hosts portions of our back-end services and AI inference workloads.
• Replicate — runs the image-generation models that produce your AI headshots from your selfies.
• Fal.ai — runs additional image-generation models used for specific photo styles.
• Google Analytics & Vercel Analytics — website and product analytics for usage measurement.
• Meta Pixel — measures marketing performance across Meta platforms when permitted by your consent.

These providers may process data in regions including the United States and the European Union. We rely on standard contractual clauses and platform-level safeguards where required.

We process your uploaded selfies solely to generate the AI headshots and portraits you request. We do not sell your selfies, do not use them to train third-party models, and do not share them with advertisers.

You can delete generated photos and your account from inside the app at any time. Once deletion is requested, source selfies and outputs are removed from active storage within 30 days, subject to short-term retention required by law or fraud prevention.

• Legitimate interests — security, abuse prevention, product analytics.
• Consent — for marketing emails, advertising IDs, and Meta Pixel tracking.
• Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain uses. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA / CPRA, including the right to know and the right to opt out of sale or sharing — SelfAI does not sell personal information.

SelfAI is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the account.

We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest with our cloud providers, and access controls limited to staff who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your selfies and account data safe.

We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email where appropriate.
